Radigast on Nyr Dyv

A map of the city of Radigast in the fictional D&D setting of Greyhawk, commissioned by DM Zork and drawn by yours truly.

"Gomila, gomila, od kod krasota tvoja ..." spake the stone upon the barrow-hill. Spake the stone alone, upon that hill of turf and bone.

Trash Can Epiphany

Xmas Concert Poster

A little poster I did for a brass band concert playing ... umm ... tomorrow. Didn't want to upstage the first posters I saw posted, so I waited with it.

Happy holidays and such to everyone!

A Sea of Centaurs

Why haven't I drawn enough pictures recently? Because I had to dream this up. :)

And it took quite a bit of work. Entirely hand drawn, except for a few texture layers added right at the end.

Snow Wabbit

The snow wabbit has been hiding this year, only the frost mole has thus far been seen, leaving his frosts all over bough and bole.

Guess who drew ...

Mladina, proglas

The calendar reminds us that the world isn't ending. More of the same awaits us: working, eating, sleeping. I was generous and didn't draw the pooping we'll all have to take :).

Sea Lawyer

The sea lawyer ... distantly related to the sea lion and the sea cucumber.

Frosty Dog

When the frost grows from the ground, oh-ho-ho-ho, the doggy plays in the icy sand, oh-ho-ho-ho, and a bottle of rum. Or something.

She likes snow, but she makes do ... just like all of us waiting for the snowe :)

The Good Shepherd

Be very, very careful when someone says they know what's best for you and that everything they're doing is in your best interest.

Of course, this cartoon could also be a rather discrete* jab at some of the current batch of Slovenish politicians jostling for power at the next elections.

*for a certain, very slack definition of "discrete".

Sometimes you just have to relax and smile while the strange things of this world in general, and politics in particular, pass you by.

Sheep Walking

That distant moon, that vicious glare, what mind could hide in its metal heart?

The neighbour's cat keeps trying to occupy my bed. He sneaks in while I'm in the bathroom.

Map of Svetopetrograd

Now this is just a gorgeous map of my campaign setting. And it's my own work. So it's pretty. And you should like it. So there!

The Land of Fire in Ice

I suppose I should post this here as well :). This is the result of some playing around with a few new pen nibs and a session of photoshopping. Pretty, no? :)

Sandworm - Night and Day

It's obvious that since by night you don't see the wormsign, the little blighters manage to sneak up muuuuch closer to you. Obviously it's the same species though, just look at the typical tooth arrangement!

Dragon Whisperer

I just couldn't draw only dark pictures for a whole 30-day ... umm ... month. :)

"Shhh ... don't look now, but there's a monster drooling on your shoulder."

Dark Divinity

Take the hand of god and eat its flesh, partake of the glory and the bloodshed, the eternal life and the inquisition, the resurrection and the jihad. Hail the red fruit of imaginary supernatural authority, the serpent of abnegated responsibility.

Dark Cross

Sometimes a leap of faith may be required, unfortunately it often results in strange superstitions.

NOTE: Also I've killed off the Facebook "like" button because it took too much space, was superfluous (heck, if you really like something, share it), and it messed up my little Google+ button.

Dark Butterfly

A little bonus, if you're not just a posterous follower. The rotated version of the cocoon. :)

Mind Map Art

I just came across a really nice site, thanks to Mitja Mavsar and FaceTubTM. So I'm sharing it wiv' you here. Anyone have any clue how to make the TM superscript, btw?

Mind Map Art

This is one of their mindmaps on how to focus, and I highly recommend it. For myself as well.

Now to wander off into the mists like Lud.

Snake on Fish

Yesterday while fishing with typical success (i.e. catching nothing), I stumbled across a grass snake wrestling a little bullhead on the pebble beach. Unfortunately I scared the snake and it hid under the rock at left, leaving the fish gawping for water. I tried waiting for the snake to come out and finish off the fish, so I could take a photo, but its fear seemed to outweigh its hunger. In the end, despairing of the snake showing for a photo opp I just placed the stunned fish back in the river, where it swam off after a while..

Beyond the Stick

The stick was good. The rabbit seemed better.

Debt Dragon Burns

It's really quite fantastic
to watch the politicians
wave their magic stick
and speak their mealy puns

pretend the dragon's tamed
and the rot been stopped
none of them seem shamed
so many jobs been chopped

they're still feeding in the trough
ain't by a long shot had enough.

Medium: traditional media with ball-point pens and such.

Thinking Sheep

Deep thoughts for dark nights with scissors for company and wool for the cold. The block is optional.

Dark Zebra

Some say the white's on the black, others the black's on the white. From what I've learned of zoology, I hold with those who favor white, but in a pinch, black is just as great and should suffice.

Fool Around Freedom

<3 Painter ... even if I'm still shiddy widdit :D

Ovca 'z Bovca

There are sneaky plans afoot in the Slovenian government to turn over the Soča valley to hydro-electric power companies. For this reason they added an almost hidden 565th article to the new energy law, opening it up for development. I bet some folks pocketed a packet for this pickle, but still ... How can you be so amateurish? So obviously trying to pass one over everyone? In the middle of the summer holidays, a final article at the end of a bill you hoped nobody would read. Bastards. Not just bastards, but stupid and obvious bastards.
