Cute Covers I
If it seems like I'm experimenting with the style of these drawings ... that's probably because I am. I haven't quite decided yet what style I should settle on. I am aiming for something simple and silly, which is always harder than it seems!

Blue Pyramid Map
A map I did for the Cartographer's Guild September challenge - the challenge was to make a side-on map. So I did. A little map that will be used for a little bit of Goblin tomb raiding as well.
Yes, there are higher resolution versions, no, I'm not posting them here. :)

Uprising 300
Designed for the Student Club of Tolmin, in celebration of the 300th anniversary of the Tolmin Peasant UprisingTM, which happened back in 1713. This little design graces the new student T-shirts & if I say so myself, it came out pretty nifty. I'm posting it almost a month late for two important reasons: 1 - I didn't want to cramp the T-shirts as they came out & spoil the surprise; and 2 - I've moved to Utrecht and surprisingly enough, that's taken a lot of my energy the last 2 weeks. I'll be back to drawing more regularly soon.
Also, surprisingly enough, the weather in Utrecht is sunny and fantastic.

Marble Trout 'stival
Wow, I haven't posted anything in ages. Well, let's put it down to holidays and work. Holidays, because I didn't do anything then and work, because it would be unprofessional to post the things I've done before they're published and so forth.
Happy 30th of August, the Day of Fluffy Bunnies, everyone!

Metalcamp 2012 Tolmin map
Every few years I feel the urge to map my home, occasionally coinciding with a festival I might attend (i.e. Metalcamp 2012, in this case). So, here's a little retro-grungy-mixed map of the area for your enjoyment! If you use this map and get lost and horrible stuff happens to you and a bear eats your shoes, it's your own fault. That was a disclaimer.
We can play a game like spot the difference. I fixed one error and added another label. Should be enough!

Engineblockhead
Anybody feel I should take this further and polish it up more? Or is it just silly and not really funny?

The Edge of Limbo
Veteran of the Psychic Wars, Blue Öyster Cult - yes, the meaning of the song is pure cheese, just like the moon.

The Cheese Shovel
A funny thing I've discovered in Holland is that everyone seems to be obsessed with what a friend called a cheese shovel (and I tried to call a "uobl za sir") ... ghrooghrle seems to prefer the term cheese plane, cheese shaver and cheese slicer. In any case, it's a strange little hand-held trowel, similar to implements for peeling potatoes, which engenders great feelings of pride and civility among the Dutch.
I just find it strange and a little silly that anyone would bother with a cheese shovel instead of investing in a good wooden chopping board and a sharp knife.

Deep in the Purple Worm II
This time in technicolor!
Sized and adjusted for approximately A4 printing, perfect for the lackadaisical DM on the run with a few tables to supplement his imagination as concerns the difficulty of monsters and the bountifulness of treasure.
I hoped to have a bit more time to flesh it out more and add more detail to the encounters, traps and treasures ... but I guess it's more idiosyncratic this way. And beware of the dire hamsters.

Yummy Food
This is what Easter is all about. Eating too much food, feeling dead and then hoping to rise again the next day.
Tweeter Thoughts
#Somehow I always feel a little bit @nauseated whenever I $log on to Tweeter. A vile torrent of short b@rfs I can't make head or tales [sic] of. I doubt a #conversation is even possible, more like shouting and signalling with with little &flags from passing ship to sheep, pretending there's some baasic communication happening.
